Nádherný noční výhled na Istanbul! 🌃🇹🇷
Během našeho říjnového pobytu v Istanbulu jsme navštívili střešní terasu Gonen Rooftop Ocakbaşı nedaleko náměstí Taksim.
Největším lákadlem tohoto místa je bezpochyby nádherný panoramatický výhled na večerní Istanbul. Přímo před vámi se rozprostírá osvětlená mešita Taksim, rušné náměstí, střechy okolních domů a v dálce lze zahlédnout také Bospor a jeho osvětlené mosty.
Atmosféra na terase je velmi příjemná, zejména po setmění, kdy se město rozzáří tisíci světel. Ideální místo pro chvíli odpočinku a obdivování krás Istanbulu z výšky.
Jediným menším zklamáním pro mě bylo, že zde neměli čepované pivo, na které jsem se těšil. 🍺
I přesto návštěva stála za to. Pokud hledáte v oblasti Taksimu střešní terasu s opravdu krásným výhledem, určitě stojí za zvážení.

Beautiful night view of Istanbul! 🌃🇹🇷 During our October stay in Istanbul, we visited the Gonen Rooftop Ocakbaşı rooftop terrace near Taksim Square. The biggest attraction of this place is undoubtedly the beautiful panoramic view of Istanbul at night. Right in front of you is the illuminated Taksim Mosque, the bustling square, the roofs of the surrounding houses, and in the distance you can also see the Bosphorus and its illuminated bridges. The atmosphere on the terrace is very pleasant, especially after dark, when the city lights up with thousands of lights. An ideal place to relax for a while and admire the beauties of Istanbul from above. The only minor disappointment for me was that they didn't have draft beer, which I was looking forward to. 🍺 Still, it was worth the visit. If you are looking for a rooftop terrace with a really beautiful view in the Taksim area, it is definitely worth considering. A big compliment for the panoramic view of Istanbul at night! ❤️

We stayed at Taksim Gönen Hotel and this restaurant is located on the rooftop of our hotel. The atmosphere and the city view was really beautiful. I got some good pictures as I wanted. My experience about food , overall was good. I liked the starter menu (meze). The main dish for me was lamb stew. It was quite salty in my opinion, but the grilled beef dish that my friend ordered was good. However their food was not so outstanding, but it still met my standard and expectation for their upscale Turkish Ocakbaşı. The price was not that high if you didn't order seafood dishes.
